Add the bacon grease to a cast iron skillet over medium heat.
Once hot, add the bread cubes and all remaining ingredients. Gently stir to coat.
Cook until the bread is golden and crispy, about 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cool, and use any way you’d use croutons.
1 slice of keto bread equals 1/2 cup of cubed bread.
Switch up the flavor profile by adding different spices! Smoked paprika is delicious.
If you don’t eat pork, you can use beef bacon grease like Faith does for this recipe! Or you could use olive oil for a vegetarian version.
Store keto croutons in a glass jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
